Here we have the 15ft 5” x 10ft BERG Grey Oval Champion trampoline with a total surface jump area of 85 (sq .ft) or 7.9 (sq. m) and maximum user weight at 19 stone or 120kg.
The trampoline bed bounce is produced by the 112 springs each with a length of 7.5” (19cm) covered by BERGS protective edge.
BERG have this very large oval trampoline in three different sizes with some excellent patent designs of their own using the latest technology. An oval trampoline provides excellent advantage compared to a round
trampoline with this oval having more than one jump spot.
The first design feature BERG have included in their Champion range is their Airflow bounce mat. This produces less resistance when jumping so produces a much higher bounce than a standard trampoline mat. The actual air permeation has been stated as 50% compared to a standard mat so air flows through, giving that fantastic height when it comes to bouncing.
Moving on, the steel frame has been galvanised which many trampoline brands incorporate as well as BERG. This gives the frame strength, durability and the aim to be completely rust proof. Once galvanised, the frame is given a black power coating which gives even more durability. These are features you do not always see on lower cost trampolines but you certainly do here.
Next you have BERGS fantastic TwinSpring system which consists of a large number of obliquely placed springs around the trampoline. These give this oval trampoline a different set of characteristics when jumping but also provide excellent safety and a comfortable bounce.
BERG have their own system for assembling their trampolines which comprises of their click system which keeps each of the parts connected together. This is also used for the legs so if you were to move the trampoline from the ground or from A to B, then the legs will not fall off.
Safety is always an incredibly important factor in a trampoline so with BERG you have their protective edge. This is an edge which is 39cm wide and made from a non-absorbent foam which is completely waterproof.
This protective edge overlaps the springs so they are fully covered and out of harm’s way so children will not catch themselves on them. This also means you can’t get caught between the springs and the frame so a great addition to the safety of their range.
When assembled and the safety enclosure complete you will find their self-closing entrance which is found on their deluxe range of trampolines. This provides easy entering and exit of the trampoline and uses Velcro to seal it shut.
This trampoline itself as you can see has an eye pleasing shape which is produced by the arched frame construction which give it additional strength and keeps it shape.
